As the seasons change, so do the vendors at the market. A running list of vendors and when they are at the market is listed below.

3 Way Farms –  The farm offers a wide variety of seasonal vegetables, berries, melons, cut herbs, and potted plants. In late fall, find homemade decorative wreaths made of greens. You can find them every Saturday, April through November.

A.M. Kettle – If you get to the market early enough, you might smell Arianna popping up fresh kettle corn right at the market. A.M. Kettle specializes in kettle corn and other popcorn varieties. You can find A.M. Kettle at the market year round.

Ana’s Twist – Ana offers seasonal Ecuadorian treats, including hand made artisan sorbet, soups, empanadas, energy bars and fresh squeezed juice on hot days.  The “twist” involves using only fresh fruits, and veggies from nearby farms, combined with traditional Ecuadorian flavors to create fresh and healthy sweet and savory treats. They are also proud to offer delicious dairy free and gluten free products. 

Baked By Yael – Yael Krigman is the woman behind Baked by Yael, which is located in the Woodley Park neighborhood of DC and dubbed DC’s first cakepoppery. They specialize in cakepops, bagels, rugelach, black and white cookies and other delicious baked goods.  Her bagels are the best around and often sell out.  At the market year round.

Biggs Family Produce – This long-time family farm is run by William Biggs with the help of family members, including Leonard and Brenda, who can be found at the Del Ray market each Saturday. The farm sells eggs, greens, a variety of vegetables, canned goods, and in the spring and summer, fresh cut flowers. Biggs is at the market year-round.

Blue Ridge Botanicals — High quality herbs, natives & perennials. At the market April – December.

Boso Kitchen – Boso Kitchen offers small-batched roasted, spiced, and candied nuts, as well as legume soups and salads. They are at the market every other week. 

Bradshaw Sauce Co. – With origins in our very own Del Ray neighborhood, Bradshaw’s is producing a wide range of imaginative sauces with new ones coming out all the time. Bradshaw’s is at the market year round.

Brutto’s Breads – Matt is baking sourdough breads, focaccia, and pizza dough right here in Del Ray utilizing local grains. 

Cheese GoateesCome meet Jude at the market and try some of his delicious maple products from Cheese Goatees (formerly Little Antietam Goat Dairy).  There’s maple syrup, maple sugar, maple candy, you get the sweet idea.  And a delicious variety of goat cheeses!  At the market year round.

Conchita’s Fresh Salsa – Conchita’s makes delicious fresh salsas, guacamole, fried plantains, lemonade, and some amazing fresh corn and flour tortillas. They are at the market every other week. 

Cold Country Salmon – Cold Country Salmon is owned and operated by Alaskan Traveler Terpening and his wife Nicole. Together with their daughter, Cedar, Traveler and Nicole spend their summers fishing the remote Ugashik River District of Bristol Bay, Alaska. In the fall, the family returns to the the Mid-Atlantic to distribute their catch via seafood shares and local farmers’ markets. They are at the market year round.

Compost Alexandria – Resource Recovery Stations, located at the City’s Famers’ Markets (Old Town, Del Ray, West End, & Four Mile Run), collect resident compost each week.  Staff are on site to explain how to compost food and yard waste at home, and accept items for composting.  There are also compost tubs available to purchase for $5; each one conveniently has a lid, handle, and is small enough to transport food waste to and from home.  At the market year round.

Dimitri Olive Oil – From olive farms in Southern Greece, Dimiti offers olive oil, olive mixes, salad dressings, and tapenades.

Grace’s Pastries – Grace’s has a wide variety of sweet, savory, yeast and quick breads for sale including sourdough, focaccia, banana bread, zucchini bread, seven grain and gingerbread, among others. They also offer raspberry scones and apple turnovers. Check out their storefront in Herndon, VA at 434 Elden Street.  Grace’s is at the market year round.

Hog Haven Farm – If you haven’t tried THE Hog Haven Breakfast Sandwich, featuring their sausage patty, cage free eggs, and grass-fed Irish cheddar, all on a locally fresh baked English muffin with house-made tomato aioli, you haven’t lived.  You can also purchase their local, pasture rotated, heritage pork, raised without hormones or antibiotics, as well as a line of homemade sauces and lemonades to enjoy at home year round. 

Honey Brook Farms“Local, Nutritious, & Naturally Delicious” – A multi-generation family run farm from Culpeper, VA that uses holistic and sustainable methods to provide pasture raised, non-GMO meats & eggs, bone broth, CNG chemical free produce, raw honey, no-gluten/whole grain baked goods, & more. Chicken & Turkey are offered in a variety of cuts (boneless, bone-in, ground, & whole). The birds move daily across chemical free pasture where they forage in the sun on a rich salad bar pasture while being supplemented with Non-GMO Project Verified feed that is tested & guaranteed to be free from GMO’s, pesticides, & herbicides. At the market year round.

Jinlan Wenhua Chinese Dumplings – Offering many, many varieties of handmade Chinese dumplings, buns, pancakes, and sauce. Each package of frozen dumplings comes with simple cooking directions. These are truly some of the best dumplings you will find. 

King Mushrooms – Located in Barclay Maryland, King Mushrooms provides consumers with fresh, local, gourmet mushrooms year-round. They grow numerous different varieties of mushrooms in a controlled environment without the use of chemicals and pesticides. Mushroom tinctures provide consumers with a concentrated extract of wild and cultivated mushrooms, ideal for nutrients. At the market year round.

Leigh Marie Homemade Organic Jams and Preserves — Offering a wide array of homemade jams and preserves year-round at the market.

Little Austria — A local farmers market mainstay, offering up sweet and savory strudel with a wide variety of fillings. At the market year round.

Lost Boy Cider is the brainchild of Tristan, head lost boy.  He’s sourced some of the countries best ingredients to create his new line of heritage and modern dry ciders to share with you.  If you like your cider dry, with whole ingredients, and 100% Shenandoah apples, this is the stuff for you.  At the market year round.  

Mesisam the Ethiopian Eatery – Mesisam the Ethiopian Eatery offers prepared Ethiopian meals to go – both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.  Their authentic meals are traditionally very spicy, but you can order medium and mild, too!  From their family to yours, enjoys these meals made with love!

Milaap Chai — Varun offers authentic Indian Masala Chai every week, year round.

Mizumi Farm (formerly Fork and Hoe Farm) – Kelly and Nathan provide sustainably grown, beyond organic specialty produce to the market.  They offer baby salad greens, baby root vegetables, heirloom tomatoes and cucumbers, baby eggplant, leeks and specialty onions, and microgreens.  Have a special request for an out-of-the-way vegetable, just ask – they’re at the market year round!

Mom’s Divine Sweet Potato Pies – Sandra does one thing, but she sure does it well. Delicious, homey Sweet Potato pies in a variety of sizes.

Open Hand Pasta – John and team are producing delicious fresh and dried pasta and sauces, as well as offering pantry items like olive oil and fresh mozzarella and burrata. Open Hand is at the market year round.

Paella To Go – Paella To Go offers delicious Spanish specialties ready to eat at the market all year long.  Chef Mario will tempt you with fresh paella, but don’t miss his other offerings!

Passionately Pets – Offering all sorts of wholesome, gourmet pet treats and toys and accessories. Our pet-centric vendors are usually set up on Oxford Ave., so your dog can visit.

Pickles and Cures — Inspired by the delis of old, Pickles & Cures aspires to provide the finest in preserved meats, vegetables, and fruits. Fermented pickles, tomato and garlic confits, and cured salmon.

Port City Flowers — A Del Ray micro-flower farm, growing specialty cut flowers for bouquets available through CSA subscriptions and their pop-up flower cart.

Rolling Sloane’s Bakery – From right here in Del Ray, Sloane is making sourdough breads, pies, tarts, cakes, and pop tarts featuring seasonal and local produce whenever possible. And the best chocolate chip cookies you’ve ever had. And always some gluten-free options, too. Find Rolling Sloane’s at the market year round.

Roots ‘n Shoots – Paula is your friendly neighborhood microgreens lady!  Curious about microgreens?  These tiny plants pack in the flavor, nutrition, and color, all grown locally using organic methods.

Scuttlebutt Bakeshop – A local shop with a knack for making bakes you won’t find anywhere else. Each recipe is crafted with creativity, the finest ingredients, and the approval of Scuttlebutt himself (psst… he’s the dog on the label) who regrets not snagging this cookie before you did. At the market year round.

Sexy Vegie – Calling all vegetarians and vegans!  The Sexy Vegie offers vegan and vegetarian prepared foods like veggie burgers, soups, salads, gazpachos and much more made from naturally and sustainably grown produce.  At the market year round.

Shamali Hummus – Shamali’s hummus is a dip originally from the Middle East. Chickpeas are blended with garlic then mixed with tahini, a seasame seed paste, and lemon juice. This mixture creates Shamali’s hummus and it is so good that you will eat it with anything!

Shlagel Farms – Russ, with his wife Eileen and five children, operate this farm, which has been in the family since 1911. The farm offers a variety of seasonal vegetables, berries, melons, cut herbs, potted plants, and eggs. The farm, located in Waldorf, Maryland, also offers pick-your-own strawberries in the spring and pumpkin patches and hay rides in the fall. Shlagel Farms is at the market year round.

Smith Meadows“taste truly local” – Located in Berryville, Virginia, this nearly 200 year old farm takes great pride in creating a healthy farm environment, producing healthy, content, and delicious animals. They sell meat from cattle, pigs, sheep, and chickens, as well as chicken eggs, that have been naturally raised in an outdoor setting. In addition to meats, they sell pre-made pastas and sauces that change each week. Their Weekly Kitchen Menu website lets you know what to expect each weekend.  Smith Meadows is at the market year round.

St. Elmo’s Coffee Pub – Started in 1996 by Nora Partlow and Scott Mitchell, St. Elmo’s is a mainstay in the Del Ray neighborhood. They offer coffee to market patrons looking for a pick-me-up.  At the market year round.

Toigo Orchard“Good for You Food” – Using the Integrated Pest Management system allows the Orchard to grow beautiful fruit without chemical residues. In addition, they grow an array of fruits and vegetables in large, pesticide free greenhouses. At the market find fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers alongside cherries, peaches, plums, apples, pears and other fruits. They also offer pressed cider, honey from the Orchard, canned sauces and salsas. Toigo is at the market year round.

Uncle Kebba’s Lemonade – Kevin is slinging every possible flavor of lemonade you could imagine… and then some. When the months turn cold, find yourself a warming cup of hot chocolate. At the market year round.

Virginia Honey Bees – Local raw honey, honey straws, cut comb, and bee balm.

Welle Made Co. – Rose offers savory Ghanian hand pies with a whole bunch of different fillings. Grab one while you walk around market or get a bunch for tasty lunch.
